Seattle Symphony Media

With the launch of Seattle Symphony Media in 2014, the Seattle Symphony has full control of its recording output for the first time. The Grammy-winning, in-house record label presents the core symphonic repertoire along with the eclectic and contemporary programming for which the Seattle Symphony is recognized.

Captured in acoustically superb Benaroya Hall, recordings aim to capture as realistically as possible the sound of the orchestra performing onstage with naturalistic imaging, depth of field and dynamic range. Using the Symphony’s state-of-the-art recording studio, albums are mastered to audiophile standards for the highest quality listening experience.

The Seattle Symphony has a long and distinguished recording history with an extensive catalog of over 150 recordings that have brought forth three Grammy Awards, 23 Grammy Award nominations and two Emmy Awards throughout its history.
