Opening Night Concert & Gala Packages

All Gala packages include tickets to the Opening Night Concert at Benaroya Hall, and post-concert cocktails, formal black-tie dinner and dessert reception at the Sheraton Seattle. Parking at Benaroya Hall is included. All table hosts and ticket buyers will receive recognition in the Opening Night Gala program.

The legendary English band UB40 has defined reggae music for a generation with hits like "Red Red Wine," "Cherry Oh Baby" and "(I Can’t Help) Falling In Love With You." Founding members Ali Campbell, Astro, and Mickey Virtue have brought their rootsy musical sound to all corners of the globe over the past four decades, selling a staggering 70 million records. With the March 2018 release of A Real Labour of Love, the trio took a fresh look at their legendary series of albums by putting the focus primarily on reggae tracks from the 1980s. Backed by their eight-piece reggae band, Ali, Astro and Mickey are breathing new life into an intoxicating mix of timeless covers and classic UB40 originals.

Al Di Meola: Opus Tour 2018

A bona fide guitar hero, Al Di Meola has been recognized internationally over the past four decades as virtuoso of the highest order. A prolific composer and prodigious six-string talent, Di Meola has amassed over 20 albums as a leader while collaborating on a dozen or so others with the likes of the fusion supergroup Return To Forever (with Chick Corea, Stanley Clarke and Lenny White), the celebrated acoustic guitar trio featuring fellow virtuosos John McLaughlin and Paco de Lucia, and the Rite of Strings trio with bassist Clarke and violinist Jean-Luc Ponty.

Join DeRay Mckesson — the internationally recognized civil rights leader and host of the podcast Pod Save the People — for a timely conversation on culture, social justice and politics. Drawing from his own experiences as an organizer, educator and public official, DeRay will explore the issues of the day and discuss the subtle structures and inherent biases that impact our communities. The conversation will also examine the core themes of DeRay's upcoming first book, ON THE OTHER SIDE OF FREEDOM: The Case for Hope, a meditation on resistance, justice and freedom, and an intimate portrait of the Black Lives Matter movement from the front lines. DeRay will be joined by special guests for a live, no-holds-barred conversation about inclusion, community and progress designed to empower a new generation of leaders.
