Let’s practice saying hello! Hosted by a board certified music therapist, your family will love learning about the woodwind family in an environment that is designed specifically for children on the Autism spectrum and with sensory sensitivities. The concert experience includes instrument exploration before and after the show, a meet-and-greet with the featured musicians and a 35-minute performance.

A Seattle native, Jeffrey Barker is beginning his new position as Associate Principal Flute of the Seattle Symphony in the 2015–2016 season.
Zartouhi Dombourian-Eby is regularly featured as both a flute and piccolo soloist with the Seattle Symphony.
Judy Washburn Kriewall has been a member of the Seattle Symphony flute section since 1979 and is also a member of the Seattle Opera orchestra.
Mike Thomas is a board certified music therapist currently specializing in psychiatric music therapy at MultiCare hospital in Auburn. Previously, he worked at Music Works Northwest in Bellevue where he taught adapted music lessons and provided one-on-one and group music therapy sessions to children and adolescents. Thomas received his Bachelor of Music degree at Western Michigan University, where he also studied voice and composition. Beyond his professional work, Thomas is a singer-songwriter and composer who enjoys writing, recording, and performing his original music.
