*Music Director Ludovic Morlot has withdrawn from his Mahler Resurrection Symphony appearance due to injury. Conductor Giancarlo Guerrero will conduct in his place.*

Giancarlo Guerrero

Conductor

Giancarlo Guerrero is the five -time GRAMMY® award winning Music Director of the Nashville Symphony Orchestra, a post he has held since 2009 and has committed to through the 2024-25 season. Starting in the 2017-18 season, Guerrero will also take on the role of Music Director of the Wrocław Philharmonic at the National Forum of Music in Poland.

Malin Christensson

Soprano

Born in Sweden, soprano Malin Christensson studied at the Royal College of Music. Recent highlights on the concert platform have included Bach’s Matthäus-Passion with the Philadelphia Orchestra and Nézet-Séguin, the Weihnachts-Oratorium with the Leipzig Gewandhausorchester and Pinnock and the Mass in B Minor with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Nelsons.

Christianne Stotijn

Mezzo-Soprano

The Dutch mezzo-soprano Christianne Stotijn was born in Delft and studied violin and voice at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Over the years Christianne has won numerous awards, including the prestigious ECHO Rising Stars Award 2005/2006, the Borletti-Buitoni Trust Award in 2005, and the Nederlands Muziekprijs in 2008.
