The Roosevelt High School Orchestras from Seattle, Washington are under the direction of Anna Edwards. The Roosevelt Orchestra program includes students from 9th – 12th grade. There are three orchestras with diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds, and students who thrive on being not only well rounded musicians, but well-rounded in their education and extra-curricular activities.

The Roosevelt High School Orchestras frequently earn top honors at local, state and regional festivals, and graduates of the program regularly gain admission to the nation’s elite music conservatories including Curtis Institute of Music, the Juilliard School, Eastman School of Music, Manhattan School of Music, Columbia, Indiana University, Rice, New England Conservatory, and Oberlin. The RHS Symphony honors around the country include - Grand Champions of the National Orchestra Cup in 2008, 1st Place Symphony at the American String Teachers Association in 2010, and 1st Place at the Northwest Orchestra Festival in 2009 and 2011, 2012, & 2013.
